一个民族的复兴，总是以文化的兴盛为强大支撑；一个时代的进步，总是以文化的繁荣为鲜明标识。
Cultural prosperity serves as a strong pillar for the rejuvenation of a nation, while flourishing culture is a clear indication of an era’s progress.
中国式现代化是赓续古老文明的现代化，而不是消灭古老文明的现代化；是从中华大地长出来的现代化，不是照搬照抄其他国家的现代化；是文明更新的结果，不是文明断裂的产物。
Chinese modernization seeks to build upon, rather than erase, China’s ancient civilization; it has been developed here in China, not copied from any other country; and it has stemmed from the revitalization, not disruption, of Chinese civilization.
中国式现代化是中华民族的旧邦新命，必将推动中华文明重焕荣光。
Chinese modernization will breathe new life into this ancient land and see Chinese civilization shine with renewed radiance.
文化自信是更基础、更广泛、更深厚的自信，是一个国家、一个民族发展中最基本、最深沉、最持久的力量，没有高度文化自信、没有文化繁荣兴盛就没有中华民族伟大复兴。
Cultural confidence is a more fundamental, extensive, and profound form of self-confidence and the most basic, profound, and enduring force behind the development of a country and a nation. Without strong cultural confidence and cultural prosperity, national rejuvenation will be unattainable.
站立在960多万平方公里的广袤土地上，吸吮着中华民族漫长奋斗积累的文化养分，拥有14亿多中国人民聚合的磅礴之力，坚持走自己的路，具有无比广阔的舞台，具有无比深厚的历史底蕴，具有无比强大的前进定力。
Rooted in a land of more than 9.6 million square kilometers, nourished by a time-honored culture, and blessed with the strength of more than 1.4 billion people, we have an infinitely vast stage, a heritage of unmatched depth, and incomparable resolve to draw on when pursuing our own path.
更好担负起新的文化使命，就要坚定文化自信，坚持走自己的路，立足中华民族伟大历史实践和当代实践，用中国道理总结好中国经验，把中国经验提升为中国理论，实现精神上的独立自主。
To better shoulder our new cultural mission, we must maintain firm cultural confidence, unswervingly follow our own road, and rely on the great historical and contemporary practices of the Chinese nation. We must review the Chinese experience through a Chinese lens and elevate that experience to theories that will ensure intellectual independence.
中华文化既是历史的、也是当代的，既是民族的、也是世界的。
Chinese culture is both historical and contemporary, belonging to both the Chinese nation and the whole world for that matter.
要秉持开放包容，坚持马克思主义中国化时代化，传承发展中华优秀传统文化，促进外来文化本土化，不断培育和创造新时代中国特色社会主义文化。
We must remain open and inclusive, continue adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of our times, keep alive and further develop the best of traditional Chinese culture, see that foreign cultural elements are adapted to Chinese society, and continue to foster and create a socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
每一种文明都延续着一个国家和民族的精神血脉，既需要薪火相传、代代守护，更需要与时俱进、勇于创新。
Every civilization is, in part, a continuation of the soul of a country or nation. It needs to keep this soul alive from one generation to the next, but it must also move with the times and have the courage to innovate.
守正创新，既与中华民族几千年来恪守正道、革故鼎新的文化传统相承袭，又与中国共产党一贯坚持的解放思想、实事求是、与时俱进、求真务实的品格相贯通，体现了继承与发展的辩证统一。
By upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground, we follow the millennia-old Chinese cultural tradition of adhering to the right path while pursuing reform. At the same time, we also honor the CPC’s enduring commitment to freeing the mind, seeking truth from facts, moving with the times, and staying pragmatic and realistic, thus upholding the dialectical unity of continuation and development.
